Lorensbergs sees a big need for 6 Sigma Facilitation skills - March 2008

Many of our clients are embracing Six Sigma and "lean" as they consider how to improve their processes yet further.

These approaches are based on fact based improvement methods and focusing on removing non-value added activities as far as customers are concerned.

The difficulty that's begun to emerge is that the champions of these approaches (often referred to as "Black Belts") have been trained in advanced statistical methods, which can often confuse most people working in an improvement team. Also we've noticed a real need for "Black Belts" to strengthen their ability to handle group dynamics, conflict and difficulties in groups.

To meet this need, we have designed a "Facilitation Skills for Six Sigma/Lean Professionals" aimed at bridging this gap.

We already have two major clients interested and we'll be running an open workshop in the Autumn of 2008.
